How does auto-translation work?

When you change text in the primary editor, all secondary languages are automatically updated within seconds. Smart Emails uses DeepL for translations.

How it works

1. You edit text in the primary editor (e.g. change the intro text)
2. Smart Emails detects the text change
3. DeepL translates the new text into all secondary languages
4. The translated text is pushed to Shopify — live in the next email

Manual overrides

If you manually edit a translated text in a secondary editor, that field is protected. Future auto-translations will skip it so your custom translation is not overwritten.
