How does it work?

Smart Emails works in two phases:

Design phase — Pick a preset, customize colors, fonts, logo, footer, and marketing sections in a visual editor. No coding needed. Then export each template to Shopify by copying the generated code.
Live phase — After the export, you can change texts, colors, and settings anytime. These changes go live instantly — no re-export needed.

How do I edit translations manually?

On the home page, click on a secondary language design set
Click Edit to open the secondary editor
Click on any section in the canvas to open its text fields
Edit the text — your change is saved automatically

In the secondary editor, only text fields are visible. Design controls (colors, fonts, layout, images) are hidden because they are managed in the primary editor.

|| Important: If you manually change a text field, auto-translation will no longer update that field. To restore auto-translation, clear the field completely.

On the home page, click Add Language at the top
Select one or more languages from the list
Click Add

Smart Emails creates a new design set for each language, translates all text fields using DeepL, and automatically installs the templates in Shopify for each language. No manual export needed — it works as long as the primary templates are already exported.

Click Buttons in the toolbar to open the button panel. Every button in your emails — "View order status," "Track shipment," "Pay now" — follows these global settings.

Button variants

Smart Emails offers three button styles:

Filled — A solid background with contrasting text. This is the most common choice and gives buttons the strongest visual weight.
Outline — A transparent button with a colored border and text. Looks more subtle and works well for secondary actions.
Link — No background, no border — just colored text that looks like a link. The lightest option.

Button shape

You control how rounded the button corners are:

Square — Sharp corners with no rounding
Slightly rounded — A subtle radius for a softer look
Rounded — Clearly rounded corners
Pill — Fully rounded ends, like a capsule shape

Button size

Three size options are available: Small, Medium, and Large. This affects the padding inside the button — larger buttons have more space around the text.

Button colors

Depending on the variant you choose, different color options appear:

Filled: Background color + text color
Outline: Border color + text color
Link: Text color only

Button typography

You can set the font family, font size, font weight, and toggle uppercase for button text. This is separate from the body text typography, so your buttons can have their own distinct style.
